Refund policy

Overview

At UK Grains Ltd, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction across both retail and trade clients. Our refund and return policy is designed to reflect the nature of our products and the different protections available to consumers and businesses.

Retail Customers (Consumers)

If you are a consumer purchasing for personal use (not on behalf of a business), you have the right to return most goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, provided:
• Goods are unused, unopened, and in the original packaging.
• The product is not perishable (e.g., opened food products are excluded).
• You notify us in writing within the 14-day window.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was faulty or sent in error.

Once returned and inspected, we will issue a full refund using the original payment method within 7 business days.

Trade Customers (Business Clients / Pallet Orders)

If you are purchasing on behalf of a business or placing a pallet or bulk order, different terms apply:
• Returns are not accepted unless the goods are damaged, defective, or incorrect.
• All claims for damage or discrepancies must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
• Goods must be in original, unopened packaging and accompanied by photos and delivery documentation.

Change of Mind or Unwanted Stock

If your business no longer requires the product, and the goods are in resalable condition, we may, at our discretion, accept a return subject to a 25% restocking fee.
• The return must be pre-approved by our team.
• Return shipping and handling are at the customer’s expense.
• Refunds will be issued within 7–10 business days of inspection, minus the restocking fee.

Damaged or Incorrect Goods

    If you receive goods that are damaged, spoiled, or not as ordered, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery:
